Used 2015 RAM 3500 for Sale nearDurango, CO

How much does the 2015 RAM 3500 cost?

Prices have softened 6.64% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 351 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2015 RAM 3500 a good car?

Yes — the 4.5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its strong performance, especially its towing capability and overall power, and they also highlight its dependable nature and the range of features available. That fits the 2015 RAM 3500’s role as a heavy-duty truck that can still do hard work while feeling more refined than a basic workhorse. With 28.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2015 RAM 3500 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback emphasizes that it feels dependable and capable of handling heavy loads, which is exactly the kind of confidence used buyers want in a heavy-duty truck. That said, you should still think about long-term ownership risk in terms of how the truck was used, since hard towing and commercial-style duty can affect wear even when the truck itself is well regarded.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 RAM 3500?

At 62.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from trucks with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the truck was used for towing or heavy-duty work. Focus on overall condition, signs of wear, and whether the truck’s equipment and features still function as expected.

What is the 2015 RAM 3500's resale value?

The current average of $30,694 sits slightly below last year's $32,877.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the truck easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the truck in strong condition, you can help protect your future resale position. Demand should remain supported by the model’s strong owner satisfaction and heavy-duty appeal.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 RAM 3500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 28.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.64% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2015 RAM 3500 makes the most sense if you want a heavy-duty truck with strong owner approval and you’re willing to shop carefully for condition and history. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2015 remains a solid primary target when you want capability, comfort, and a market that still offers some deal opportunities.
