How much does the 2015 INFINITI Q50 cost?

Prices have softened 1.83% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 393 listings available, which suggests you have a workable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2015 INFINITI Q50 a good car?

Yes — the 2015 INFINITI Q50 earns a 4.63/5 user rating and a 7.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Technology.

Owners consistently praise its luxury feel, powerful engine, smooth handling, and stylish design. That lines up with the Q50’s broad appeal as a car that can be configured as a comfortable all-weather performer, a tech-forward luxury sedan, or a sportier driver’s car. Even with some complaints about trunk space and the touch screen, the overall mix of features and driving character remains a strong draw.

Good and great deals account for 28.2% of listings, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2015 INFINITI Q50 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.63/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable in daily use, with praise for its powerful engine, smooth handling, and overall luxury experience. The expert commentary also says the Q50 is likely to be just as durable and dependable as the G37 and G35 before it. That said, the car’s newer technology can complicate ownership, so you should pay close attention to how well the systems work and whether prior repairs were handled properly.

If you’re buying used, the biggest long-term risk is ending up with a car whose tech features or steering-related equipment have not aged as gracefully as the mechanicals.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 INFINITI Q50?

At 47.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has the more complex technology or performance equipment. Focus on condition, repair quality, and whether the electronics, steering feel, and driver-assist systems behave as intended. Because the Q50 can vary so much by configuration, it’s worth making sure the specific car you’re considering matches the way you plan to use it.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Q50 can be configured with different personalities, from a comfortable and quick all-weather performer to a fast and furious sports sedan. The base setup is more straightforward, while higher-spec versions add more aggressive styling and equipment; the sportier Q50S setup brings upgraded brakes and a sport-tuned suspension.
• Powertrain: A 3.7-liter V6 is described as plentiful in power, with 328 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. The 7-speed automatic adapts to driving style, and the car also offers multiple drive modes, including Eco, Sport, Snow/Ice, and Personal.
• Safety package: The Technology Package adds Active Lane Control, Distance Control Assist, and Blind Spot Intervention. It must be paired with the Deluxe Touring Package, which means you also get Direct Adaptive Steering.
• Infotainment: The car uses Infiniti InTouch, InTouch Apps, and InTuition, with dual screens, a touchscreen lower display, and a touch-sensitive upper navigation screen. The system also supports smartphone streaming and is controlled through a mix of buttons and knobs.
• Fuel efficiency: The expert test car averaged 19.2 mpg, short of the official 23-mpg combined estimate.

Which 2015 INFINITI Q50 trim should I buy?

The 2015 INFINITI Q50 is offered in 4 trim levels: Q50 3.7, Q50 Premium, Q50S 3.7, and Q50S Premium.

Here's the short version:

• Q50 3.7: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Q50 experience without the extra cost of the higher trims. It makes sense if you want the styling and basic luxury feel first and foremost.
• Q50 Premium: This is the best-value trim if you want a more complete luxury setup without jumping too far up the price ladder. The source specifically points to the Premium trim as the one worth upgrading to for more equipment.
• Q50S 3.7: Choose this if you want the sportier personality. It adds more aggressive styling, upgraded brakes, and a sport-tuned suspension, making it the better pick for enthusiastic driving.
• Q50S Premium: This is for you if you want the sportier hardware plus more upscale equipment. It’s the most complete expression of the Q50’s performance-oriented side.

The Technology Package requires the Deluxe Touring Package, so safety and driver-assist features are not standalone additions on every trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 INFINITI Q50?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 28.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 393 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.83% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 47.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $12,236, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 INFINITI Q50's resale value?

The current average of $12,647 sits slightly below last year's $12,882.

That kind of softening suggests the Q50 is still accessible on the used market, but it may not be a strong short-term appreciation play. If you buy well and keep the car in good condition, you can help protect your exit price later. The model’s broad appeal and strong owner satisfaction should help support demand, especially for cleaner examples with desirable equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.63/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 INFINITI Q50 safe?

The 2015 INFINITI Q50 earns an Acceptable rating from IIHS, and the front passenger gets a three-star rating in frontal-impact testing from NHTSA.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The Technology Package brings Active Lane Control, Distance Control Assist, and Blind Spot Intervention, and Infiniti says these systems can warn the driver or take evasive action if needed. A steering-wheel button lets you turn the active driving-assist systems on and off. One caveat is that you must first get the Deluxe Touring Package to get the Technology Package, so the full safety suite is not standard across the lineup.

Should I buy a 2015 INFINITI Q50 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 28.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 47.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.83% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.63/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It offers a wide range of personalities, from comfortable luxury to sporty performance.

Consider the 2014 if:

• At $11,629, the 2014 costs less than the current year's $12,647 average.
• It introduces Infiniti’s new naming, styling, and technology direction in a bold luxury sedan.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $13,505, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $12,647 average.
• It feels more credible as a luxury sports sedan and adds broader appeal.

The bottom line: The 2015 is the right pick if you want the Q50’s strongest mix of style, performance, and technology at a lower used-car price. If you’re shopping on a tighter budget, the 2014 can save you money, while the 2016 is worth a look if you want the more refined follow-up and can stretch for it.
