Is the 2015 Audi Q5 a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Audi Q5 earns a 4.56/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners repeatedly praise its luxurious ride, excellent fuel efficiency, spacious interior, and peppy performance. That fits the Q5’s role as a compact luxury SUV that prioritizes comfort, quality, and everyday usefulness over ruggedness or sharp handling. Is the 2015 Audi Q5 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.56/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also highlights dependable everyday comfort, with many drivers describing the Q5 as a vehicle they can count on for a luxurious ride and solid day-to-day usability. At the same time, some owners mention engine reliability concerns in older models, so a careful pre-purchase inspection matters. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that maintenance history can make a big difference in how well this model ages.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Audi Q5?

At 60.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with accident records. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the engine, since reliability concerns have been noted in older models. It also makes sense to focus on overall condition and maintenance documentation, because a well-kept Q5 is more likely to deliver the refined ownership experience you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Audi Q5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 918 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.40% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $10,474, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $10,474 sits slightly below last year's $11,435.

That softer pricing suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future resale stability if you buy at the right price. For a future seller, the key is to avoid overpaying now, because your resale outcome will depend heavily on how much room you leave between purchase price and market value. Strong condition and documented maintenance should matter even more for this model, since buyers tend to reward well-kept luxury SUVs.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.56/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 35.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 60.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.40% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.56/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2015 Q5 makes the most sense if you want a well-liked luxury SUV with strong owner approval and you’re willing to shop carefully for condition and history. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the softer market and decent deal availability make this year worth considering, but you should still compare individual listings closely and favor the cleanest, best-documented example you can find.
