About 2019 Cadillac CT6-V
For 2019, the CT6-V transforms Cadillac’s nicest sedan into a veritable rocket ship. The CT6-V features its own special mesh grille pattern and at the rear, it features a V badge and quad exhaust tips. Finally, every CT6-V comes with exclusive 20-inch wheels. A new twin-turbocharged 4.2-liter V8 engine, called Blackwing, comes in the CT6-V, making an estimated 550 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque. A 10-speed automatic sends power to all four wheels, a first for the V brand, and there’s a mechanical limited-slip differential on the back axle to keep everything in line. The CT6-V gets a specially developed set of Brembo brakes and summer tires. As of this writing, fuel-economy figures aren't available. As of this writing, specific features and options weren’t available, but we can expect keyless access and start, LED exterior lights, wireless-phone charging, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, heated and cooled seats with a massage function, and a 10-inch HD infotainment system that responds to touch, voice commands, or a physical controller. Standard or available safety options include a surround-vision camera, forward-collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, lane-departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, forward and reverse automatic braking, a safety-alert seat, night vision, and automatic parking. Cadillac even offers a surround-vision recorder, which records front and rear views of the car while driving, and full 360-degree recording if the security system is activated. The CT6-V heralds the next era of sport for Cadillac and the V brand.
