Throughout the Fusion’s run in the United States, it was occasionally offered in some kind of a sporty variant, from an appearance package on the very earliest cars beginning in 2007, to a standalone model in 2010 and to a trim level with a unique engine in 2017. The revamped Fusion V6 Sport lasted from 2017 until the 2019 model year, and was the only Fusion model to incorporate the 2.7-liter EcoBoost turbocharged V-6, which delivered 325hp and 380-lb.ft. of torque. All Fusion Sport V6 models had a six-speed automatic transmission featuring steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, and they were all standard with all-wheel drive.
