Used 2001 Honda CR-V for Sale near Homestead, FL
Again, with the exception of a safer set-up for a child-seat, there is nothing new for the 2001 Honda CR-V. After all when you make a quality product that has a proven track record, why bother making changes?
Just to review, the CR-V is not a real off-road vehicle. It is sort of an overgrown wagon with lots of passenger and storage space. You get the size of an SUV with a vehicle that is easy to handle and great for driving around town.
One of the trademarks of the CR-V is the Honda "Real-Time" 4WD package - unless you prefer the option of front-wheel drive only. Then there is the 2.0-liter, 146-hp engine, 4-wheel independent suspension, and unibody construction. The side-opening tailgate with the spare tire mounted on the outside allows for exceptional storage space. With that in mind some people feel they forgot about comfort in the back seats.
That being said, the 2001 Honda CR-V seats five people fairly comfortably with duel airbags included, all for an approximate price range of between $8,400 and $12,950.
4.2 Overall rating
(27 reviews)This car has all the important components of a dependable and practical car. Handling could be better but wider tires make a big difference. Gas millage is very good and if you are used to 4 cylinder cars this car will never feel like it lacks power. It also drives and handles very well on dirt roads.
The Honda CR-V is extremely reliable. No major problems since purchase in 2001. AWD works great and it is roomy for its size. it is not the most sleek and stylish vehicle on the road, but it is worth the tradeoff. Would highly recommend to anybody.
Perfectly sized vehicle for a small family. Only fits 5, but nice and spacey and fits a lot in the trunk! Same chassis as as the civic so easy to park yet still has a lot of room.
I love the vehicle. It holds a multitude of items and has a good get up and go. The seats are extra comfortable and has amazing leg room for people of all sizes. The turning radius is great and the handling is efficient.
I love that its roomy and versatile. It's good on gas but it has no pickup. It's never broken down in nearly seven years, its good in the snow and my best friend has the same exact car, so that makes it fun too.
