Used Chevrolet Chevy Van for Sale near Orlando, FL

Loved it, great to cruise around in. Drank a lot of gasoline but damn did i have fun in it...

The van I own is actually a 1989, but facebook doesn't recognize this as a model year. This is a very interesting vehicle, mainly because the previous owner made it into a camper van. This van has a 3/4 size bed, microwave, captains seats, cupboards, a table, and a comper top. It is on its second engine with the body totalling nearly 300000 miles. It's a great vehicle to putter around the back woods, however it is NOT good to get this thing stuck as it is rear wheel drive, and is weighted down. One problem I have with it, obviously, is the gas mileage. It tops around 13 mpg with a 20 gallon tank. Needless to say it wasn't driven much when gas was close to $5.00 a gallon. Currently, I use it to haul around my crap between apartments and as storage. It is, however, great to have when you need to bring 10 people to Dysarts to get some food. If someone wanted a full size van for use as a camper, I'd say get a newer one (unless it was free, as in my case) or get an actual camper. I honestly see no reason to be driving one of these as a main way of getting around. They make no sense to drive to the store or to get to work.

Purchased this conversion van some 10 years ago and except for the AC which goes out every 3 years I couldn't be happier. Fold down bed in the back has come in handy many times....dark tinted glass all around, always starts.....always gets you there.

1966 ~~I-beam front suspension with king pins is YOUR worst nightmare to drive, would always swim one way, you'd compensate, then it'd swim the other way...typical worn kingpin construction. Rear end was strippy and never worked right. Transmission linkage was falling off all the time. Someone took the valve cover off and threw it away.

what i loved about this van is that i i got it up to 220KPH it towed my racecar great at that speed what i didnt like about it was that it had a slight pull to the left it pulled me right into a tree
