I love this car, I owned an 81 and an 83 hatchback back in the mid eighties and I had always wanted another one but never could find a nice one that hadn't been butchered or eat up with rust. I found this all original, one owner car. It was garage kept and never driven in bad weather. It was the owner baby, now it's my baby and I plan to keep it all original and as close to mint condition as humanly possible. Nissan builds cars that last and last.

Performance: slightly underpowered but GREAT braking and AMAZING handling. Build Quality: absolutely the best you could ever hope for. It's a 1985 car that requires the maintenance of a 2000 model car. Appearance: Interior styling is one of the highest quality and best designed interiors ever built; exterior styling is clean and angular, with just enough curves to make it a sophisticated design. Cost of Ownership: 25 miles per gallon average, maintenance is cheap except for when the power steering pump broke. That cost about $850 but really the cost of ownership is low for such an old car. Fun factor: Amazingly fun to drive, especially on canyons.

So far I love it. I have owned it for only 2 days. Engine makes a loud muffled noise when pressing on the gas pedal. Is this normal for this car?

Like others have said it is a blast to drive, handling is a 9.0, speed is a 8.0, styling is 9+, interior layout 8+. Others say that it is under powered but i don't think so, unless you are young and need to inpress the ladys. The one i have i can't say enough about it. Best car that nissan has made for that year.
