good braking and handling. great for my first car. A few minor repair needed due to the age of the vehicle. very clean and good looking car inside and out. Cheap to run and a family style car so not really for fun but can be great. LOVE the back seats... so comfortable

i love my car cause it helped me in many situation and siense it with me for to long now i feel kind of as it a member of my family you dont love some one or some thing because it or he or she is most amazing or most powerfull or the most beatiful but you just love it with all its defects even every body thought u r crazy or something like that but u cant change it u just love it

My father was a Peugeot-lover. After his 504-era, he bought a new 505 GRD in 1984 (or was it 1982?). It was a green metallic democar from the dealers in which he made a lot happy kilometers. It was rear wheel drive and had a big diesel engine in the front. The boot was very big and the interior offered a lot of comfort, certainly for that time. The road holding was a reference in its class. The car pictures I googled shows a green metallic 505 that resembles very much my fathers car. After the 505 broke down badly (it wasn't a very reliable car, certainly not after a few years of intensive driving and more than 200.000km), it was replaced by a blye metallic second hand 505 GTDT. That car had sportscar like acceleration and road holding compared to the earlier GRD. It had bigger rims and tyres, spoilers front and rear and featured a more classy suede interior. My father had a love/hate affair with it, because it broke down far too often, and appeared to have been a problem car for the previous owner. It had to go eventually because the costs were becoming unreasonable.
