Not an Electra, actually, it was an Estate Wagon. One-year model before 1971 redesign. Dark green with green vinyl top. Purchased new by my dad in 1970, handed down to all my siblings before I retired it. Used to haul an eight-person family, had its engine replaced once, tranny twice. Rode and handled great for its size, and the 455 V8 was the real deal, posi rear made it very good in snow. Shame I couldn't afford to keep it running right while in college. Had all power accessories in a time when that was rare. The most expensive, luxurious wagon GM offered at the time. Build quality was 1970 GM-solid, they really had it right that year.
