Dealer was very good about calling and emailing. But I requested a lot of photos of specific parts of the car because I would be an out of state buyer. I received 3 cell phone pictures of the car but not the areas I asked to be photographed. Other than that they contacted me by cell, and email on several occasions.

Offered $10/12 thousand dollars for my trade in and when the deal was done the manager backed out of his offer saying my Toyota Highlander was from Canada. My Toyota Highlander was bought from Toyota of the Bronx on Boston Road and had a J at the beginning of the vin number saying it was made in Japan. As the deal had been agreed I had to go through with this and ended up with $23 thousand dollars on finance as I put $12 thousand down was expecting to receive the $10/12 thousand from my trade in leaving a finance bill of approx $10 thousand Instead I ended up with $21 thousand on finance.The original price of the Cruiser was $26 thousand but somehow the dealership managed to bump it up so in the end the selling price was $38 thousand. Never trust a Toyota Dealership. I have been with Toyota for 12 years but this will be the last time.I advise people never to go to Fordham Toyota in the Bronx. They are a gang of crooks just there to rip off innocent customers

The dealer responded to my inquiry immediately. From there, my experience went downhill. I drove 30 miles to check out the car. Upon my arrival, there was some confusion as to whether it was sold or not. I had called just before they closed on Saturday and arrived one hour after they opened on Sunday. The car was still there and I looked it over. We returned to the showroom. I used the rest room and by the time I got back to the salesman, he informed me that the car had been sold the day before. He offered to show me other cars but I declined. To this day, 2 weeks later, the car is still listed. I would not buy a car from them under any circumstances, at any price. I believe this car is used to lure potential buyers to their lot because of all the facts listed above and because it is listed well below the going price at other dealers.

What a joke this place is. Looked at a 2002 trans am listed as clean titled and in excellent shape. Car had dents and dings all over it and had an accident on the carfax too!! Paint was checked all over , conv roof was stained up. Drove 90 plus mins after calling 2x to ask condition of vegicle before i went. What a waste of my time. Beware of the pretty saleswoman who flirts like hell to try and make a sale. My advice - skip these bsers and spend more at a reputable place!! Buyer beware

Dealer responded promptly. we ended up buying a different car from them (same model/yr, just different pre-owned unit). They were very nice, but the whole process took about 8 hours, which was ridiculous, especially since we had 2 toddlers with us. But we drove off with the purchased car that day.
