Poor Execution Of Repair, Rude Service People, -- And This Service Facility Sponsors My Club? — I took my '91 Corvette to Baierl Chevrolet Service for them to replace my broken turn-signal stalk. After four days, I picked up my car. The stalk had been replaced, but it was not seated properly. As a consequence, I cannot turn on my high-beams. My service advisor, Jim Holman, is always courteous to me. But when Jim is not there, the other service people have been impolite and even rude. For example, I was dropping the car to be serviced the next day. When I talked to the Service Advisor, he was upset that I had not driven the car into the Service Area. If he had asked me, I would have told him that their parking areas were blocked with construction vehicles and a car hauler. I was lucky to find a way into the lot at all, and I took the first parking spot that I found, which was just outside of the Service Area exit. Since this Service Advisor would not even look at me while we were talking, I made no explanation to him. When people are rude to me, then I speak to them as little as is needed. From March 2012 until January 2013, I made five visits to Baierl Chevrolet Service, and I spent a total of $ 4,120.39. Not only will I never recommend Baierl Chevrolet Service, I take EVERY opportunity to tell people how poorly I have been treated at Baierl. I am a member of the North Pittsburgh Corvette Club. The reason that I chose Baierl Chevrolet Service for my '91 Corvette was a letter that my club sent to me. In that letter is stated the following: "Baierl Chevrolet has agreed to be the sponsor of the North Pittsburgh Corvette Club. Jeff Nock, General Manager, of Baierl Chevrolet is very supportive of the club and shares our desire to work together to promote Corvettes."
