Biggest problem with 8th generation Corollas. Burn engine oil like mad! The factory put in smaller size pistons and compensated for that with larger size rings, in turn, as the car gets older the rings wear out. Big problem, but the factory keeps its mouth shut about it. Some engines have been known to sludge up and some run fine without problems. ...
