“Toyota's Box version 2”
Not a bad car overall, kinda hard to see out of. Great for trips, much better than the older version. Much better power, but not as good on gas. This model has cruise control, a must. Kind of strange dash design. Traded in on 2008 Hyundai for personal reasons, better mileage, and lower payments.

"The most unethical dealership I have dealt with in over 35 years; personifies the reason people hate car salesmen. They sold a 2012 Tacoma “out from underneath me” while I was awaiting payment information from the sales manager – including the use of a credit card transaction to hold the aforementioned vehicle. Stall tactics are utilized by this group to avoid having to work for the buyer . Deplorable communication, substandard follow-up and no customer courtesy shown to potential customers. Beware of this dealership – they are knuckle-draggers."

"During my vehicle search, I encountered a VW GTI 2012 with 18K miles with Safford. They were eager to sale the vehicle and followed up quite a few times. Some of the conversations were very aggressive, but I tend to push that along. I didn't close on the VW but instead I purchased a 2010 BMW. The prices were too, close in terms of cost to buy a VW. I will try them again, in 5-10yrs when the next vehicle purchase takes place. Hopefully, the wholesale car market picks up."
