I called the dealer to make sure there isn't corrosion. The car had extremely low mileage for being a 2001. The dealer told me that there was no corrosion. I was seriously considering the car. I was traveling from Vancouver, WA up to Everett (4 hour drive w/traffic). I wanted to make sure the car was in good condition before heading out. The dealer confirmed that the car was in excellent condition. When I came to the dealership, I opened the trunk and found that everything that wasn't aluminum was corroding. Drive the car; yes it drove nicely. Came back from test drive opened the trunk, pulled out the spare tire and found that it was sitting in water with rust on the bottom. I also learned from carfax that the car came in and out is auction several times recently. Anyway, had to drive home with no car... Would not recommend this place. The guy knew I was coming from Vancouver WA which isn't very close, and lied so that I wouldn't turn back around."

Dealer Rating: (8 reviews) "We arrived at Global Motors on a Tuesday morning at 10am (the time that the business was to open) and found a young man wearing jeans and a long sleeve tshirt with a misogynistic saying printed on it. There was no one else there. He stated that the sales manager was usually there by then but for some reason that day he had no yet arrived. Moving on to the car - while he was showing us the car he lit up a cigarette - poor form on top of the fact that his garb was not at all professional and he stunk up the car with his smoke. Finally, he sent us out on a test drive and about 2miles into the drive the empty tank indicator started to beep! The inside of the car also had a foul smell. When we returned to the dealership one of the owners was there, slouching in a chair, wearing jeans and a jersey. When asked about an accident that was listed on carfax treport hey were unable to furnish any info (no surprise as the car had been bought in Texas). When I asked about the two drops in price for this car that had been on the lot for 28days the owner shrugged and said that they sell 25-30cars a month and that in the last few days there had been "a lot of action on the car" that we had just tested. Yeah, right. DON'T GO THERE!"
