“had trouble with honda dealer making good on bad transmission”
1999 -2003 Honda odyssey possibly have clutch material that plugs up internal filter,decreasing ability to cool unit, causing 2'nd gear to warp, lose teeth and trash transmission. When confronted Honda dealer, Darlings in Bangor Me. initially stonewalled but now promise to extend service contract to 109000 mi, we'll see if it comes in writing.

"The most horrible experience ever! They couldn't locate the car, then they couldn't figure out the price, and when they did it was $1000 more than listed online. (Online price didn't include refurbishing fees.) Then they couldn't figure out a trade in value for my Honda Civic and they offered me much less than any other dealership, MUCH LESS. I will never recommend them, or buy a car from them. Talk about run around!"

"I ended up getting a great car that I love, but it was not a fun experience. The salesmen were very helpful & nice, but the General Manager was only there to make money. I had to go back twice, I ended up trading to a different car than I originally purchased. The general manager came out to talk to us, & he was obviously just trying to make money, he tried to use different words to say the same thing, which was basically a way to screw me over. I will not be going back to Stokes Honda when I decide to get another car."

"We almost bought that car but found info on it that we didn't like. The Salesman made it a point to say numerous that he didn't know anything about nisson. My husband asked him how to make the seats higher and he said I don't know I deal with honda. Furthermore he didn't know how long the warrantee was or if it were transferable. He made it very clear that if we needed to know something about this particular car we were going to have to find out ourselves. We liked the car a lot and choose to ignore his attitude but we certainly have no plans of going back there"
