The only thing I would say is to be aware of is any added charges that are applied to the sale. We were buying a used car yet they still insisted that we had to pay a mandatory fee (NY Waste Tire Management Fee - $2.50/ tire) for all tires including the donut spare in the trunk.This fee would only be Applicable if they had put 5 brand new tires on the car (which they didn't). When I called them out on it the salesman seemed to think it had to be on there but when I said that's fine I'll pay the $12.50 but I'll be looking for my new tires.He then looked to the sales manager who said to take it off. It might have been a mistake on the salesman part but yet the manager immediately agreed. It's a minimal fee yet times all the sales can add up for the dealership. Just wondered how many other used car buyers should be getting new tires out of the deal. Overall though a good experience yet be be ready to play the salesman / sales manager waiting game. "

I asked if the price was negotiable and Ken came back with a lower price and I said OK, I'll go see it. He said I had to come fast because the car was slated for auction at the end of the week. I drove out and took it for a ride and after observing some things wrong with the car (red stains on the carpet and oil around the manifold seal), I negotiated a few more hundred dollars lower price with Jim (the owner) and I agreed to buy the car if I could put $2,000 on my credit card, and Jim said yes. Ken was writing up the papers for me to sign and Richard came in the room and told me he would not honor the deal. He said that we had a deal on the phone for the higher price. I said, well that's before I saw the car (who buys a car without seeing it first)? I told Richard that his father (Jim) OK'd the new price. Richard then (rudely) said, well this is MY deal and we agreed on a price on the phone. He told me he could get more than that at auction, (which I know for a fact that he didn't even get anywhere near what I offered him, plus he had to pay the auction fees and transport of the car, not a very good business decision). I was also very put off by the lack of manners of the woman answering the phone. Every time I called and asked for Ken, I was bombarded with a barrage of questions, "Who is this? Where are you from? What's this about?", always in a snippy tone and never a "please" or a "thank you". I have to say that Ken and Jim were wonderful to deal with. Too bad Richard deprived Ken of his commission, I was ready to sign the papers. Personally, I will never buy a car from there and I will be telling all my friends about my experience too. "
