“This car is all about looks and acceleration. It is a specialty car, not for everyone”
Acceleration=0-60 in 5.8 sec with 400hp. Braking & handling are very good. Build quality was not too good - several problems with doors, rattles, wind noise (probably due to retractable hardtop). People stop on the street to look at it. If you are worried about gas mileage, an SSR is not for you. Car is definitely fun to own & drive!

"They had the car that I was looking for. They told me about it on the phone including all the imperfections in this particular car. I went to see the car at the dealer and the sales lady there just gave me the key and said go ahead and take it for a drive and check it out. My daughter and I took the car for a fairly long test drive so we could both check it out as driver and passenger. The car checked out pretty darn solid with a few minor cosmetic imperfections. I haggled with the dealer a little on price and got it down to $12,500. It worked out great for me and my daughter as her first car. "
