The dealer did not disclose that it had been mistakingly been fueled with gasoline while on their lot. They attempted a repair (incorrectly) and sold it to us as new. The check enging light went on the second way we had it. We are now attempting to have this vehicle replaced with a comparable new unmolested one. Hopefully they will eventually do the right thing and replace this vehicle, however, it seems that they want to take the path of least resistance by offering us an upgraded extended warranty. We paid for a NEW vehicle & that is what we deserve... Not a worked on( incorrectly), everything should be fine, time bomb waiting to happen. NOT HAPPY!"

I contacted them through here on the 25th, got information and pictures of the car, test drove it on the 26th and closed the deal on the 27th. Nice car at a good price. Had a few small issues with the car (pea-sized rock chip on the windshield) but they are taking care of it at no charge. Also enjoy the Van Bortel money back guarantee if you decide to return it within 20 days or 2000 miles. They have some small print on that, but it's nothing too unreasonable. For example if you wreck your car on Day 14, you can't bring it back and get the full refund. Stuff like that. All in all, Van Bortel is a big name in this community and they assured me that even after the 20 days, they take care of you if problems arise. Kitty Van Bortel has quite the positive reputation around here and I'm sure that is part of the reason."
