Its a Jeep, it was designed before Chrysler. In fact it is why Chrysler bought AMC. The AMC 242 is indestructible, with more than enough power for the lightweight XJ. Its not the roomiest, or fanciest, but I think it is beautiful, and is tough as nails. Its no sports car but hey.. does it look like one? I plan on having this jeep for as long...
