1978 Chevrolet Corvette Review
by Mpeace

Beautiful '78 Vette, Original, Only 9500 miles.

Very quick, handles great, a real head turner. I've wondered if the front and rear spoilers are options added after delivery/sale. Not mentioned on original invoice, and I haven't seen any Silver Anniversary editions with spoilers ... only the Pace Car model.

Avg. Dealer Rating: (7 reviews) "While they were fair as far as negotiations, they did not have the title on hand for a vehicle they traded over a month ago. The value of the vehicle was about 10% of the value of the most expensive vehicle they had, so I don't see why they did not pay it off sooner. My guess is that they use the cash from the sales to pay off the loans of previous owners. While this is not an illegal practice, you can see that even the Iowa DMV would suggest not buying a vehicle without a title, as would anybody who offers advice into vehicle buying. The sales staff I dealt with were also not very friendly to me, and tried to tell me that I was an idiot for not buying a vehicle without the title. They also would not provide a Car Fax report, or an Auto Check report, and they were not upfront with anything about the vehicle. If they have a title on hand, this would be like any other used car dealer, but since they don't always, I recommend using extreme caution when dealing with this dealer."
