The price they offered my buddy on his trade was the first insult, everyone else was at least double in the initial offer! I'm assuming that's who he was, brought us a copy of the invoice and left it on the desk while going to get a copy from black book justifying his offer that I told him was not true. I put the invoice in my bag with the rest of our paperwork. When he returned with the black book information I showed him where he was wrong and I think he did not expect me to be able to read it. I had already found out what the invoice was, kbb and black book before arriving. If you don't do your research there are dealerships that will rob you and Stateline is one of them. It's ok to be business to make money but be fair with your customers. The Sales Manager proceeded to get an attitude not becoming of someone representing an establishment like this. When he demanded I give him the copy of the invoice back, he did so in a arrogant bullying way that did not set well with me, I told him that it was just a copy, as you could tell easily just by looking at it. He told me it was his only copy...yet another lie. Then he accused me of STEALING their property. I was furious and stated what are you going to do about it? First I don't take demands from anyone in the tone he was giving, second I had caught him in several lies. At this point all I could think was that he lied about the price on the invoice. I was mad and walked out! "
