I love my supercharged V6! I had a 460 Ford Crew Cab and my little Tacoma has more HP and gets double the gas mileage! As of last month it now has over 180,000 miles on the engine. Just like a timex, it keeps on ticking.
Pros:
Awesome performance and great gas mileage!
Cons:
smaller than my big ford - I have had it for almost 7 years and I don't miss my gas guzzling 460 Ford.

Rock solid, reliable, and decent gas mileage (with the 2.7L)! I've had this truck for a few years now and have taken it on some serious off roading with no real problems. If it's good enough for the Taliban it's good enough for my Minnesota excursions!

it is a great car because it is so awesome and the performance makes it awesome off road because it is great and it doesn't cost that much to maintain except for throwing a p115 code which stinks really bad.

3.4L V-6 with 5 speed manual. its a 4x4. the truck has awesome power and can get itself outta any situation i put it in. its lifted 2.5 inches up front and 2 in the back. DIR coil over kit with upper control arms and deaver springs with bilistin shocks out back. it has a 32 inch mud terrain on it and also has magnaflow exhaust. all in all i love this truck and its by far one of the best trucks i have driven so far.

I love that it's a pickup and it's got 4 doors. It had a decent sound system stock, and I've upgraded i somet. I would like a little more power and/or another gear or two, it's only a 4-speed. I would love for it to be a manual transmission. It's pretty sprightly, but the top end is a little lacking.
Pros:
practical, decent mileage, pretty fun to drive, excellent build quality, low cost of ownership
Cons:
not a real strong top end, smallish back seat, smallish bed, vague steering feel

I love my truck, it’s awesome! I see lots of guys having this truck, but if you’re a girl and you want a kick ass truck without having to pay a huge chunk of money get a pre-owned Tacoma, their awesome, and everyone knows Toyotas last forever. It has awesome torque which is awesome on the freeway, and kicks butt when you’re hauling something! The V6 like mine is pretty cool, I like the sound!
Pros:
If you keep up the maintenance, it will last basically forever, runs smoothly.
Cons:
None really.

I once wanted to paint some racing stripes on it and a number on the door! Now that would be hawt!.......... I settled for a racing bumper sticker. When it comes to driving in the rain nothing beats a truck, super sideways any time you need it and then some.
