| “I Love My Car!” Reviewing:
2001 Used Mitsubishi Eclipse GS
I love the exterior, very sporty and reminds me of a shark. I love having the antenna in my widow. I love having the automatic stick. Pickup isn't the greatest. My sunroof is off the track & it would cost $500 to fix... but it still works. Gas mileage is amazing. I get 375 to 400 miles per tank (16 gal). Backseat is pretty small as far as head and foot room goes. I bought it used.

Third gen eclipse is solid, well built, and has more than enough power stock to get you running off the line. Aftermarket support is pretty good, still a few pieces lacking, needs definite attention to detail. Most parts need to be fabricated, and the steering is a little loose. The sporttronic transmission is a breeze, and it's just a fun ride. Not a hardcore following, but then, being original is the key.

The flashy Eclipse sporty tourer features a 200 hp V6 and has been facelifted front and rear. Also comes in GT Spyder convertible form, but the convertible gets a 210 hp engine. Rear spoiler and 17" wheels are standard.

Typically for Mitsubishi - the quality is not the best. And out of 2.5 engine, only 150 hp, are you kidding me?! The exterior is OK. The interior is not!
