Owning this car is awesome if you want to have a real performance car and get tons of attention. There simply is nothing that looks like a first generation Viper. The 1994 Viper is truly a classic and it is appreciating in value as the first generation becomes even rarer. Gas mileage is surprisingly good for a car with this much power, 26 hwy averaging 70 MPH.
Pros:
style, outrageous performance, fun to drive, attention grabber, exceptional handling, brute force
Cons:
top is a pain to deal with, no windows

Love the way she sucks you to the ground when you are going around the curves. I would change her but only for a 2002 version.. or maybe a new 08.

 Car looks great. Attracts attention, even from Corvette and Ferrari owners. Great engine and traction. It really goes like a rocket. But it has its down side.
Pros:
Speed, acceleration, traction/grip, attention grabber
Cons:
No exterior door handles, engine runs very hot, taking roof off is 2 person job, no cup holders, no windows ( fiberglass bolt ons ), no a confortable ride if you are going any distance.
