I would have never considered this car until I was rearended and had a PT has a rental.  I feel in love with the rental that I wanted my own.  I love driving it.  All the features it has are awesome.  Sunroof, heated seats, 6 cd, satellite radio, 2.4L TURBO.  The turbo makes a difference compared to the rental which lacked the turbo.  It will definitely get out of the way if it has to.  I can get about 300 miles to a tank, which is about what I could get with my old car.  Grant it this car does have a bigger tank.  Can fit a lot of stuff in the car, seats are quick folding.  Great car, seriously get one now is the time since they aren't making the car anymore.

Pros: Fully loaded.
Cons: Nothing... well an auxillary port would be nice, but I can make that modification myself.

Awesome car sporty and fun but can still carry 4 people. Definately go for the GT model if you want some punch on the freeway. My Touring limited model pushes out 180 hp at the wheels.    go out and buy one

Pros: performance
Cons: shifting times

Wolf in sheep's clothing. Sleeper car, and very practical.  Good looking, and unique, very customizable.  Handling leaves a bit to be desired, but improvements are relatively affordable.  Comfortable on long trips, and just a cool car. Poor resale value, but that's fine if you're buying it used!

Pros: The look on WRX owners' faces when you outrun them
Cons: TERRIBLE resale value

Nothing not to like, I love my car.  Too bad so sad that they do not make it any more. It depends what you like in a car, it is certainly a chick car, but it works for me.  Love my PT Cruiser....

Pros: Fun to drive.
Cons: Hard to back up.

Could use better wheels. Stereo system is nice. Great leather interior. Want a better turbo since the one I have is small. Gas mileage is good get 23 city and about 26 highway. Moonroof is awesome, great feature in the summer time.

Pros: Good gas mileage and handles well.
Cons: No reason.

Its a fun car to drive, the appearance is really cute,a little bit of a rough ride due to short wheel base,it has 17 tires for a little truck, thats right Truck, thats is whats on the title, alot of room for hauling stuff, both back seats come out of truck, makes for alot of space, fuel mileage isnt to bad nothing i cant live with about 26miles per gallon

Pros: functionality, goes from people hauler to,transporting stuff
Cons: short turning radious, and rough ride ,but not bad

I love my PT Cruiser. I bought it new in April, 2005. It was the last 2004 on the dealer's lot and I got a great deal on it. I absolutely love this car. I already (as of February, 2009) have 130,000 miles on it.

It has great utility... it's amazing what I can put in the back of the car with the seats folded up... and I can carry even more if I need to by removing the back seats completely. It is very comfortable... I've taken some long trips in the car and I don't mind spending the day in it driving. I really have enjoyed the leather seats that have suede inserts. And the seat heaters area great on a chilly morning.

I have only had a couple of problems with the car. The dealer had put the rims and low-profile tires on the car and it was horrible... I went through tires like MAD! Finally, in December, 2007, I bought a new set of rims and decent tires. The car rides better, handles better, and these tires are holding up very well. It has also drastically improved my gas milage.

The only other problem I had was the 6-disc changer went out. Fortunately, I had bought a 100,000 mile warranty when I bought the car and it was covered. They replaced the changer and then had to send the defective unit to the factory so they could remove my CDs. They then sent them back to the dealer where I had the repaire done and I picked them up.

I really love my car. It's really been good for me.

Pros: Great Utility, Comfortable
Cons: I do wish it got a little better gas milage.

I love my cruiser, but the seats are extremely firm and after awhile, my tush is tired!  The ride is stiff, but I'm getting used to it. I love the way the seats fold down and can be taken out.  On the negative side of that, the seats are HEAVY!  I can carry a lot of stuff in my cruiser!

Pros: It fits me
Cons: Lots of blind spots

During the 5 years I've owned my PT Cruiser, overall I've been very satisfied.  It's been a reliable vehicle that gets relatively good gas mileage, particularly on the highway, and I've enjoyed driving it.  Although it doesn't have a tight turning ratio it handles well and I feel comfortable behind the wheel.  The brakes have needed repair once, and there was a problem with the engine cutting out while idling that was repaired.  Strangely -- and I gather this isn't uncommon with PT Cruisers -- it also developed the problem of its headlights turning on spontaneously during the day.  To avoid costly repairs, I followed some advice found on the web and removed the fuse for the fog lights, which corrected the problem.  Its best feature is its amazing amount of cargo space.  The rear seats can fold down flat or even be removed entirely.  My husband thinks it looks a little like a "grandpa car," but I've been happy with it.

Pros: storage space, reliability, gas mileage
Cons: phantom headlights

Love it or hate it!

I have los count of how many of these I have had as company cars (by choice).  They are easily customisable.

Would never bother driving a petrol (unless been turbo'd) which is a shame as I liked the convertable.  The 2.2 CRD merc engine is very good, powerful and torque'y even if it does give plenty of torque steer.

Poor turning circle due to design, but of you like the looks who cares.  Very very practical,  have carried fridges, bikes and allsorts in these.  Not sure what the picnic bench is for though.

You have one of these because you want to be different and dontg want say, a renault scenic which it is almost as practical as.

Pros: Styling + Practicality
Cons: Styling + Petrol engines
