I have the 3rd seat and seats 7 people. Lots of room. I lreally like how it drives. It has ivory colored leather seats and the carbonfiber look on the panels around the stero and door panels on the inside. It has a lot of room. It drives really great.
Pros: Lot's of room for all my shopping when I go to the mall. Great for trips.
Cons: IT IS A MAJOR GAS HOG!!!!!! But you still gotta lov 'em'

It was a gift from my parents and I haven't had any major problems with it.
One of the barrings went bad and I had to change the rotors, but that's about it.

2003 Used Ford Explorer XLS V6:
Good family vehicle.
Enough room for the 5 of us and all the kids' traveling things.
Pros: Roomy.
Cons: Wish I had got a third row seating area.
2003 Used Ford Explorer XLT V6 4WD:
some build quality issues but overall been good to me
heres the deal 75000 miles, driver side door pin goes bad (common on ford trucks), cruise control intermittently works, fuel economy sucks (just got back from Florida avg 18.2 mpg), but on the plus side, never been stuck in anything, comfortable for 4 adults, great road manners, good stereo for factory, looks good.
Pros: Size, 4x4, comfort, looks
Cons: parking ability, above mentioned quality issues
