It's a Police Interceptor and it never make you late. Everyone gets out of your way, and you get the respect on the road that you always deserved.
It's also got the same muscular 4.6L V8 that's in the Mustang GT, so this thing's no slouch.  Police Interceptors also have upgraded suspension, brakes and many other heavy duty components so that it will easily run for 300,000miles or more.
These things are also dirt cheap, as in less than $5000 for a 2005!  You would also think, being a big V8 powered car, that it would get poor fuel economy, but they easily get 26-27mpg on the highway and 19-20mpg in the city.
If you want a cheap car that'll hold all of your stuff and your friends, as well as running forever and clearing the road for you, a Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor is the way to go.

Pros — Demands repect, performance, tons of room, good fuel economy, super reliable, and cheap!
Cons — not many luxury features in a police car.

Reviewing: 2003 Used Ford Crown Victoria LX Sport

A solid effort by the Ford Motor Company. The Sport model has additional  power and performance. Has 235 BHP stock and i have added a cold air intake bring the new total to 250 BHP. Obviously a solid ride with plenty of room - trunk space for about 7.3 bodies. The ride is not a smooth as one might assume. the sport pachage has made considerable providsion for handling performance. Just days ago i had an opportunity to push it on a country road and it was beyond any expectation. For the weight is handles extremely well. It also has 4 wheel disk and 17inch wheels.

Interior has many extras. Consol shifter, climate control, leather w/6 way front buckets, six disk changer with premium sound, climate and stero controls on steering wheel, telescoping pedals.

Fuel economy is not the best. On the interstate is will strech its legs and pull about 26 around town likely 15 but i have a heavy foot so 10 is likely. These days that puts a damper on it.

Pros — Very solid performance considering its great size and comfort.
Cons — Fuel economy and its not a mustang.

amazingly fast, handels awsomely, and stops on a dime.
bought it for 5,000

Pros — Great performance style and price
Cons — transmission slips every now and then due to going from first to third from pulling people over on highways
