| “Ford = Found On Roadside Dead.” Reviewing:
2004 Used Ford Explorer XLT V6 4WD
It's been a great family ride. It has very easily accessible "LATCH" system for child restraints. I really enjoy the rear-air feature, Towing capacity, storage abilities, 3rd row seat, child-safety features (ie. window locks, rear door child locks), and overall look of the truck. I would prefer a larger windshield. Sometimes I have to bend my head down a little to see the stop light at an intersection. It has great 4x4 handling, as well. I was recently left stranded on the side of I-95 in Florida when my Harmonic Balancer and Ignition Sensor went out. The FORD repair manual calls for the incorrect sized belt. It's very confusing for car-repair shops to repair your vehicle if the manufacturer's book is incorrect. I went thru 4 belts before we figured out the problem was Ford's recommendation of belt size...
Pros —
child safety, rear-air, towing, 4x4, 3rd row seating
Cons —
starts to need parts replaced at about 4 years in.

| “Fords...” Reviewing:
2004 Used Ford Explorer XLT V6 4WD
Hit 93,000 miles and the transmission went. Had lots of little problems. Love the space in the vehicle. |
| “We Love This Car!!” We bought this back in Jan. So we haven't had it very long, but it does awesome on the road. We've already taken it on several road trips. It drives awesome and I love the petal adjustment button!! We never have to move the seat to change drivers.. just push that nifty button!! We are so happy with this car and we got it for a steal!!!
Pros —
Good solid car for getting lots of landscaping bricks! Not to huge and its a V-6 so it doesn't burn as much gas! This car does extremely well on gas too.
Cons —
Sometimes the conection on the back passenger window don't connect so that window doesn't want to roll down. Thats it.
