The 2008 Audi A6 is a solid and well-appointed luxury sedan, but will buyers warm up to its tech-heavy format?
The A6 was last completely overhauled for the 2004 model year, but the midsize German luxury car still offers enough advanced technology and comfort features to keep it relevant in a competitive segment. The 2008 A6 is available in both sedan and wagon formats, the latter of which is known as the Avant. The A6 can be loaded up with the latest in entertainment, comfort, and performance tech, but its price tag grows quickly with each addition. That’s not out of line with the rest of the segment, but are Audi’s efforts enough to hold off newer and less expensive competition from other parts of the car world?

What owners say
"The overall impression of the 2008 Audi A6 is positive among owners, who appreciate its outstanding performance, luxurious interior, and strong build quality. Many drivers are particularly impressed by its smooth handling, quick acceleration, and spaciousness. However, some noted drawbacks include high maintenance costs and a somewhat uninspiring driving experience that's considered a bit boring. Most agree it's a reliable choice with great features, but the cost of parts can be a downside."
This is my 10th Audi A6 Avant. They are built in Germany, weigh 5,000lbs, have Quattro All-Wheel-Drive and are Extremely Safe & Comfortable.

November 3, 2014Pretty quick, spacious, well built and well equipped. Look great with the sporty alloys and metallic silver paint. Fantastic stereo with ipod connectivity. Servicing costs not too bad. Drives well with good lateral grip and not too much understeer in corners.

May 4, 2012Very cool it has all the bells and whistles, rear view camera, heated seats front and back, dual climate zones, huge trunk, responsive throttle and brakes, turning is sluggish.
June 19, 2008We have an Audi A6 with 175,000 on it and it runs as perfect as the day it was new.
February 4, 2022The title says it all. This car is no less than good in every category and most often great or excellent. It has year round sporty all wheel drive handling and incredible winter performance. There is also more than enough room for 4 adults or a family of five with a huge trunk and tons of luxury and tech.
May 7, 2013this is a good car, reliable as a toyota! But very strong in his work! I recommend
October 22, 2024Good Acceleration For A Diesel Car, Could Turn It On A Penny As The Turning Circle Is Great. Typical German Build Quality Milimetre Precision. The Interior Is Comfortable With A Leather Trim S-line Package. Economical Enough, Parts Don Come Cheep Thats A Drawback. Car Is Overal Good. Bit Boring To Drive As Nothing Exciting Ever Happens. Briliant Head In The Back Seat Power. If This Car Was A Man It Would Carry A Briefcase And Ware An Executives Suit. Its The Perfect Buisnessmans Car.
