Easily my favorite car that I’ve owned so far. Had to fix the valve cover gaskets but you have to expect it when purchasing a bmw so that didn’t really throw me off too much, but it was decently fast, comfortable, and very enjoyable to drive!Sep 06, 2022

I was driving this car on the different speed. I always feel safety. It has sport brakes. Shocking speed. It takes a few seconds to reach a high speed. You must be ready to spend some money on this car. Jan 25, 2015

Like riding on rails and training wheels, I love that. Acceleration is nimble, cornering stability is excellent.
Climate control could be better especially as the weather warms. I would like to bring outside air at any temperature without having to open windows.
Replaced the ac compressor at 98k miles which was still under warranty so I only dished out 50 bucks.
Replaced all air hoses at 130k parts 75 bucks. 6 hours labor, no sweat. Easiest car ever to work on. I'm out of warranty obviously so I do all my maintenance.
Replaced all front lights from time to time a little tedious but easy. Added first replacement new battery from Walmart 118 bucks December 2012, no problems whatsoever.
When working on the brakes it is cheaper to put new rotors and pads from Bosh. Did all 4, cost 155 bucks. At 130k miles. It runs like new. I do all my oil changes now and general service. It's almost fun to do..Mar 29, 2014

One of the best cars I've owned, reliable, comfortable, sporty and easy to find information and parts. Car has great acceleration and rockets up to 100mph. Ride is incredibly smooth and quiet at all speeds, and brakes well. Styling is very appealing and still gets compliments after 10 years. Apr 27, 2013

The benchmark for mid-size luxury, sport sedans in the world. World-class styling, thoroughbred performance DNA. Will not disappoint the serious driver. Truly the Ultimate Driving Machine. Must be one of the cars on your bucket list. Do not overlook it. Aug 27, 2012

Love the handling, the power, the style and the overall value of the car. The brakes are the best of the best. After warranty is up, maintenance can get a little pricey vs the market value of the car. The back seat leg room is not ideal for long trip but workableJun 04, 2012

Solid all around car, above average in all categories, not a top performer in any category. Solid build quality and lasting too. The M-Tech body kit definite improvement over stock.
Just fun enough to compliment it's sedan platform, almost as if it has dual personalities.Oct 19, 2011

Very good car and reliable, we didn't have problem with the car for the 3 years we own it. Gas mileage was ok, the handling was good and I will buy another one if the next generation is available this year.Feb 18, 2010

Bang for the buck in the used car market is unparralled. 30mpg, current body style, $50k new $20k now, BMW knows how to build an inline six, feels like much more than 190hp, ZF 6speed is always in the powerband. Excellent handling, braking and road manners.Nov 19, 2009

Nice engine with 610nm and at least 260 hp. The best dieselengine ever made. Doesn't take a lot of fuel but is fast. It is a car that you can use as a familycar and to drive and hace fun withSep 15, 2009

This has to be the best mid size saloon on the planet so far.
Performance - acceleration, braking, handling
Build Quality - squeaks/rattles there are some
Appearance - both interior and exterior are very good apart from cup holder which I hate.
Cost of Ownership - maintenance is ok
Fun Factor - alot of fun to drive

love the car build quality, luxury and the when it gets up to speed a great tourer. its automatic though so it guzzled a lot of petrol. i personally love the look of the car. its size is also a great advantage. would recommend to anyone if they could afford the petrol. lolJul 30, 2008

Love the car, there is nothing wrong withe car so far, only ware and tare stuff.
For a big saloon the car is the best handling in its class.
With a few mod the car is faster than alot of smaller cars.
There are squeaks and other nosie but that what BMW do cos they make the best handling saloon cars.
I love line of the E60, it will not out date for many years to come.
Petro is very good cos the car is very light only 1550kg.
I say the car is very fun and lively to drive would not drive any thing elasJul 21, 2008
