Car is not in good value for price it is . Engine is oxidized, seats are cracked , floor is stained and on top of that the window will go down but they don’t know if I’d go back up .Jul 19, 2022

This car is a great value for the price— I have only two changes I would make and they are minor— Tighten the steering radius and make it easier to find the dipstick when you check your oil as I always have to use my iPhone flashlight in order to put the dipstick back in— The rest of the car is perfect nothing to improve upon its perfect and extremely well engineered—Jun 11, 2022

i drove the car a little and i can see the allure. the car is quick and fairly stable. it looks good on its best day but its very small. im 6' 1" and i fit but im at the end of the comfort spectrum (wasn't made for me) but the seat is wrapped around me so i feel as safe as i can be. the big thing is that unless you can find a car that you can pull parts off repairs can get expensive. relatively easy but $$$.Jan 11, 2015

well iguess its reliable the motor spun a rod bearing at 125,000 miles but the kid who i bought it off of beat it up pretty bad. parts are cheap. 1.8 and 200 hrs with mods is respectable. good gas milage. forgiving transmission. good in snow. girls seem to like it. Its loud. the interior is nice. the motor goes in any civic. it can be stolen in under 5 min.Dec 08, 2010

Overall the car is very fun to drive and handles like its on rails. The suspension is very tight stock and is the first car I've driven that I dont feel like I need to pop a set of coil overs on it and tighten things up. The quality however is typical honda, the engine runs great but the interior and luxury aspects feel like cheap plastic versions. In all, if you're looking for a sports car on a budget this is a great entry level rig.Sep 25, 2009

My car is completely stock except for the Falken Azenis tires. I autocrossed it regularly for a couple of years a couple of years ago. Now its mainly a garage queen/ nice weekend weather vehicle.
The handling and braking is what sets this car apart from most any other car in the world. The power band is great, a little high in the RPM's but it screams and pulls hard past redline.
A few things I would change are the cup holders and stereo. I love to listen to my music loud and this car's stereo is just powerful enough to get over the engine noise on the highway. The cup holders cannot hold a sonic Route 44 cup
Compared to other front wheel drive 4 cylinders this one is hard to beat in handling, braking, and accelerating. I love this vehicle.Sep 06, 2009

Not bad performance wise for being stock i'm impressed. Solid as a rock thanks to honda, they always build a quality ride. Stylish look's from the blades to the leather. Just broke 100k changed timing belt, water pump and it runs like a champ. Pretty fun to drive, definatley needs to be lowered due to body roll. Jul 03, 2009

I love my car, it is very intimate with very tight interior fit... The only thing is I have the slowest model so acceleration requires some time to quick in sometimes but other then that it is the ideal car for the coupe category.Jan 23, 2009

This car is great on gas mileage! It accelerates great, and has high performance breaks. Nothing wrong with it at all. Interior and exterior both are in great shape, especially for being a 2001. I haven't had to repair anything on it yet. I couldn't ask for a better car.Dec 05, 2008

recently bought at a steal. great little car getting 40mpg and will blow the doors off most anything off the line. Vtec hits at around 4000 rpm believe me u fell it and hear it super fun to drive if your not afraid to brake a few laws. Could be a lil more solid specially with the struts replaced a few but they were in hard shape when i bought it and i do live on a dirt road. i said this car was a GS-R because I'm sure it has the GS-R engine (B18b Vtec DoHc) in it its really a LE (limited edition) its lowered what i believe to be 2 inches. the reason i got it so cheap s because there was a "power and fuel economy" problem which just didnt make sense so had it checked turns out it was just the timing belt. Now a bit of the bad its got a strange rattle in the passenger door doubt its anything major and there was a smell of burnt rubber from underneath i figures its somethin touching the exhaust. where it is lowered it is actually to low not so bad now i have new struts but if u have it fully loaded with four people driving on the highway when u hit a dip u can hear the shocks bottom out.Nov 28, 2008
