2009 Audi A4 2.0T

The 2.0T A4 sedan receives an all-new turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine for 2009. It produces 211 hp, an increase of 11 hp over the previous year's four-cylinder engine. Audi designed the new engine to provide better fuel economy as well as improved torque, which maxes out at 258 lb-ft. The engine links to a Multitronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), which adjusts shift points to ensure optimal acceleration and fuel economy. The sedan comes equipped with Audi's FrontTrak front-wheel-drive system.

Standard features for the 2009 A4 2.0T include leather seats, a leather-wrapped four-spoke multifunction steering wheel, a glass sunroof, automatic climate control, electronic cruise control, and textured decorative aluminum inlays in the dashboard and doors. The Premium Plus option package adds eight-way power-adjustable heated front seats, three-zone automatic climate control, and a driver information system that tracks fuel economy in real time. Owners can add interior wood trim as an option.

An Audi Concert audio system with a color display screen and Sirius satellite radio comes as standard equipment. The Premium Plus option package adds an Audi Symphony audio system and Bluetooth wireless connectivity.

Audi redesigned the dash and center console in the A4 2.0T for better ease of use. In addition, Audi repositioned the brake pedal to make it more comfortable to use. Thanks to the 2009 redesign, cargo space expands from 13.4 to a roomy 17 cubic feet.

Outside, standard features include front foglights and heated exterior mirrors. The A4 2.0T rides on 17-inch wheels and comes equipped with a full range of airbags, including Sideguard head airbags.
