2009 MINI Cooper John Cooper Works

Capable of speeds as high as 147 mph and reaching 60 in 6.2 seconds, this trim packs 208 hp in the four-cylinder engine under its hood, making it the strongest and fastest among MINI’s 2009 line. The turbocharged motor generates 192 lb-ft of torque, and the Works also rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels while allowing the operator to switch its traction and stability controls on or off in an effort to make the “track-bred” Works a bit more fun to drive. Its safety features are the same as those for the S trim, with front foglamps standard, and its interior is similar to those of the Base and S trims.
