This mid-level trim upgrades to a 4.4-liter V8, which provides 311 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. This potent engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Volvo's AWD system is standard on the V8 models, and towing capacity is estimated at 5,000 pounds.

The V8 gains several additional features, including a third-row seat, a self-leveling rear suspension system, leather upholstery, wood interior trim, a power front-passenger seat, a separate rear air-conditioner, and a sunroof.
