As the top-level trim package in the 2008 Ford Taurus X lineup, the Limited AWD edition receives a number of upgrades over the entry-level SEL and Eddie Bauer models, including heated front seats, rear parking sensors, and memorized settings for the exterior mirrors as well as for the driver's seat.

The Taurus X Limited AWD model also is equipped with a new four-wheel-drive system that provides improved traction, as well as four-wheel anti-lock brakes, stability control, and a Safety Canopy System consisting of side head curtain airbags.

Other standard features include dual-zone climate control, digital keypad power door locks, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated mirrors, a roof rack, 18-inch wheels, and an AM/FM stereo system with a CD player and an MP3 input jack.

Options include the Ford SYNC hand's-free wireless communications sytem and a DVD family entertainment system. A power rear liftgate is also available as an option.
