Worst Buy Ever — I would NEVER buy this vehicle again. After owning it for only 6 mths, I began noticing problems with the shifting. Since buying this car new in february of 09, I have had to replace the breaks at least 4 times, turned roaders 2 times and replaced them 2 times, break fluid has had to be completely refilled 4 times( 3 of them in past 6 mts). I have had it in the shop for burning something (coolant I was told) out the exhaust and was told by the first Ford Garage that it was leaking coolant into the #4 cylinder. This garage was not able to do the work on the car, so I had to take it to a different Ford Garage who then told me that nothing was wrong with the car. It was smoking all the way to the garage, but when we picked it up it had quit. They garage said they did not do anything to it. The car was out of line when I bought it, and was told to drive a while to be sure, if it was still out of line to bring it back and they would fix it. When I did they refused and said i waited too long. I am working on the 3rd set of tires, and will need new ones shortly in the front. The last set was put on just before christmas and it 4.5 mts ago. Ford refused to do anything about the problems.

Great Car Would Sell To Friend Or Fmily If They Had The Money — Would have kept car if we didn't commute so far miss the space and utility. Excellent family vehicle always drove when friends went out for dinner seats 6 adults easily ladies more comfortable in rear seats. Very easy to convert to flat cargo load space plus additional space for long materials by folding passenger seat flat!

Very Nice — i loved the fact that the seats fold up as well as down so people can clime in the back easier.Big plus is the rear conrtol for ac and heat on the head liner with vents coming from the top too totally cool.and plus there are ac adapters in the back as well as the 3rd row with more cup holders.

The Modern Mom's Superwagon — Although I only have one 3 year old, I am a very busy mom, with 1 dog, a husband, and do volunteer work and a 1st year medical resident...My Ford Taurus X not only provides me the luxury of Microsoft Sync, but also opens the rear hatch at the push of the key fob, my doors open automatically, security, everything, and great moonroof, best of all, great tax credit because I chose a model with E-85...I also have rheumatoid arthritis so I did not want a gigantic SUV to get in and out of, but I wanted the length and size of an SUV without the price of gas of an SUV...Overall my Ford Taurus X is the best in my opinion the "Mommy Superwagon" car I've ever owned compared to the 2-door hatchback of Mercedes Kompressor that I had before my daughter had feet to walk on...lolol

My Mom's Smokin Hot Ride! — It rides smooth. It has the media control on the steering wheel. It also averages out your gas millage and tells you how far you have till empty. 12 cup holders. Speed volume. Compression included. Plays mp3 cd's and players.
