The 2007 Kia Optima LX is the base entry in the Optima lineup, and comes equipped with a four-cylinder, 2.4-liter, 162-hp engine and 5-speed manual transmission.  A 5-speed automatic is optional.  The mid-size sedan seats four, with split-fold rear seats for extra storage space.
The 2007 Optima LX comes standard with air conditioning, intermittent wipers, rear defrost, and power locks, windows, and mirrors.  The mirrors are also heated.  There is a convenient front console and reading lights.  Front, side, and side curtain airbags are all standard. ABS brakes and traction control are not available on the base model.
There are few options with the 2007 Optima LX, other than a rear spoiler.  Owners appreciate the new styling and the overall performance of the 2007 Kia Optima LX, and the standard power features.  Seat comfort is a common complaint.
