The 2005 MDX Touring trim is nearly identical to the standard package if you ignore the options available only with the Touring package.  Purchasing the Touring trim will get you a roof rack and Bose stereo with in-dash CD changer.  

It also earns you the privilege of opting for the navigation system and/or rear-DVD entertainment package.  The DVD system has proven very popular in this 7-passenger SUV.  Those in the back seat can be in their own world with a movie playing and their own temperature controls (and hopefully, if these are your kids, that world is a quiet one.... ;))

As expected, reviewers of this car have loved the DVD system and rear-view camera, praising its ability to make backing out of a tight space much easier.  Complaints include uncomfortable seats and the lack of a system to automatically lock the doors once the SUV gets rolling.
