The LS is the base-level trim for the Impala, featuring the most modest power plant and a more basic selection of comfort and convenience amenities. Standard features include air conditioning, full power accessories, a tilt steering wheel, a power driver seat and keyless entry. The LS also features a three-passenger front bench, while the higher trims come with two bucket seats.
The LS is only available with one engine: a new 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 211 horsepower and 214 pound-feet of torque. This V6 is paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. The LS offers the best Impala fuel economy, estimated at 21/31 mpg.
