[Edit] The 1969 Jeep Wagoneer was (and still can be) a stubborn, hardworking beast of a 4x4 SUV. With two available engines, an AMC 232 I-6 or Buick's Dauntless V-8, the 1969 Jeep Wagoneer could be used for city driving, off-roading, or even such labors as plowing.
With three available transmissions - a 3 speed manual, a 4 speed manual, or a 3 speed automatic- the 1969 Jeep Wagoneer could be whatever it needed to be.
With sedan-like comforts in the interior and plenty of space for passengers and/or cargo, the Jeep Wagoneer was one of the first true SUVs. The 1969 followed in the tradition, with air conditioning, comfortable seats, and the option of 4 or 2 doors. This was a great vehicle in its day, and can still be.
Online, I found two 1969 Jeep Wagoneers for sale. One was still used actively as a plow. The other had 750,000 miles on it, and still ran. Certainly they'd both had work done to them, but with Jeep Wagoneers, that is no big deal, because so many of the parts from year to year are interchangeable.
A 1969 Jeep Wagoneer can still serve a useful purpose today, either as a workhorse or as a well-restored antique.
