While it may be the least expensive entry in the 5-series lineup, the 2005 BMW 525i came loaded with luxury features, ranging from state of the art stereo systems to standard leatherette upholstery. Still, the 525 is known for its performance and despite the relatively modest, $40,000 price range, BMW does not scrimp on features drivers want.
A favorite among drivers is the standard for BMW: a six speed gearbox. There were no major changes to the 525 in 2005, only some minor equipment reshuffling which seemed to leave buyers pleased.
