Bro if you got red hot cats DO NOT DRIVE till
rich overfuel condition is fixed or you WILL
BURN IT TO THE TIRES. This is caused
generally by a injector failure stuck open or
spark plugs,coils wires. If the cats got to red
hot (glowing) they are damaged and this will
cause a secondary runability issue as the cat is
melted inside the unit. Codes will appear LIKE
but may or may not be specific. Po301thru 8
cylinder misfire the last digit being the cylinder
in question. Injector will say which one it is
saying open or shorted if this is a V8 4.3 for
example coils are very seceptible to failure
plugs as well. Hope this helps. Also check all
