2013 Ford Escape Review Ratings
2013 Ford Escape Titanium 4WD Review
Very quiet interior, great sound system when opting for the SONY touchscreen unit. Takes 87 octane gas.
Very heavy in 2 liter 4WD format. Could loose 2 or 3 hundred pounds to get better mileage and sportier performance.
2013 Ford Escape Titanium 2.0 L 4wd — Only 300 miles into ownership, and I can tell this is a different kind of CUV. Sure footed on turns, fast when turbo finally spools up, and still gets 30 MPG on the Highway (my last drive anyway). Good thing it can accomodate 87 octane fuel, or this fat puppy would be expensive to drive around the city.

2013 Ford Escape Review
Gas mileage & user friendly features.
When you lay the back seats down - it's not flat. Camping with just this vehicle isn't as easy as with an old school Envoy!
Great Vehicle With Some Negative Comfort Features. — Love this vehicle accept the back isn't as comfortable for the drive inn or camping - especially downsizing from an extended Envoy. Driver seat could definitely use more lumbar support but otherwise a great vehicle. Very user friendly features besides figuring out how to shut certain interior lights off.
2013 Ford Escape SEL Review
I just purchased this '13 Ford Escape (2k miles), I am impressed! I previously owed an '06 Escape, there is no comparison between these two SUV's. The ride and drive of this new Escape just blew me away.
Bluetooth will not sync with my iphone.
I Love This Vehicle! — I have not been able to sync my iphone to the Bluetooth built into the radio. I'm not sure what the problem is....may be the operator .lol I know the world feeds on the negatives of life, but when it comes too this car, it will have to eat somewhere else.

2013 Ford Escape Titanium Review
How can a trucklet cost so little but do so many things so darned well? Walk up to the black metallic paint and you'll see deep, flawless paint, be impressed by the custom looking meaty wheels. It looks like a quality machine. That impression is reinforced on the inside with top-drawer materials and great assembly. This is our first car in years lacking full leather, but the black cloth/leather seats are very comfortable and after 17,000 miles don't have a bit of wear. The Escape is nimble too, and given its handling prowess, the ride feels like a really well damped European sedan...a great blend of active safety, fun, and comfort. What really gets my attention is the simple goodness of all the little features on the Escape. The blind spot warning system is a great bonus in heavy traffic, the parallel parking feature is a hoot to use (and I like exercising my own p-parking chops just to keep the skills up), the voice commands are addictive and useful, the heated seats kick in the minute you turn them on, that kick under the tailgate to open feature can be a lifesaver, and keyless entry and start is a winner...you get the idea. So many options for music too. Oh yeah, mileage is around 25 Mpg with a 50/50 mix...meeting expectations. So much good bang for the buck.
Why are the climate control buttons so darned small? Need to be a third larger. The Sync system has a hiccup every now and the...needs some more evolutionary tuning, but overall a great system. Now, I realize it's a small SUV, but that said, the rear area doesn't carry as much as I'd hoped. One discordant styling note, those fugly, chrom-ish side vent appliques just aft of the front wheel well are atrocious...kill them please.
The Best Swiss Army Knife I've Ever Owned — The Escape could cost 10k more and it would still be good value. It does everything very, very well. Never feels cheap. Handles well, rides even better, and has every useable feature you could hope for. Test drive one and compare it to the other small SUVs on the market, we did and the Ford simply stole the show.

Great vehicle for a person looking for a non-threatening SUV. It's a modern era station wagon on a truck frame, but it comes off more like a Chrysler mini-van with rich Corinthian leather. Make no m... Read More
