ProsLooks great. Comfortable seats. Loving it so far. Only put 6K miles on it so, the jury is still out on overall maintenance costs and reliability. ConsGetting in and out is a chore. 6-speed DSG is slightly clunky around town. Upshifts to quick in Drive-mode. Forced to use Sport-mode quite a bit in town. Hoping to be able to install an upgraded ECU with a better shift control program after the warranty is out.

Love The Looks, Comfort And Gas Mileage. Hoping For Reliability To Match. — My new family car. Wanted something sporty with enough room and comfort to take some road trips. The venerable VW 2.0L turbo has decent power and very nice low-end torque. The gas mileage on the highway is very good at 30-33 MPG (pretty good for a car this size). Would love to see the 2.0L turbo diesel in this car. Long range cruiser with about 550 mile range on the highway. Not the most comfortable thing to get in and out of due to the low-slung roof and low-to-the-ground seats. But once your inside it has a nice seating position with not-too-aggressive side bolsters that keep you in the seat without encroaching on you thigh and shoulder room. I love the overall appearance of the car. The 4-door "coupe" design favors a Mercedes CLS. Primary Use: Family transportation |
