Fantastic Driver — This vehicle combines the power and handling of a sports car with the utility of a SUV. It has great creature comforts and although you pay top dollar for them, the add ons are worth it.. Great cruising range due to it being a diesel and getting 28 plus miles per gallon on the highway at reasonable highway speeds (70 - 75 mph)

Nice, sports car feel in a big bus

X5 35d — We wanted an VW touareg tdi execuline; bought this for almost $20k less. Satisfactory. Nice perormance, good economy, good drivers car. Not a fan of the front seat, uncomfortable on long rides. Great acceleration, superb handling. I don't like the x drive 4wd. the way it cuts power, even with the button pushed to remove the control, is not good when you are fighting snow storms. All in all, satisfactory, but not superb.
