Pros

Fun yet conservative car at legal speeds so far (still in break-in period lol).

Cons

A coupe or convertible would be more fun!

I May Buy This One At The End Of The Lease So I Guess I Like It. — When the transmission is set to "sport" mode the car runs aggressively...very nice throttle tip in and shift points. During deceleration the car does not freewheel but acts much more like a manual driven correctly, down shifting as the car slows to a stop so that it is always poised to accelerate. With the "normal" gear selection the transmission up shifts just a little too quickly, although the torque curve of the 3.0 is flat enough not to bog the car down. I like the space gray color as it is close to the sterling gray on the 2011 Mustang GT which I really wanted but the lease deals were no where near compatible to BMW's offerings. I am very happy with the standard features of the car and the only two items I am not happy with are the run-flat tires, however I was lucky to have the Contis vs. the Bridgestones. I want my Extreme Contact DWS from my previous BMW and I will take a chance on a flat. At least give us a choice BMW! I have driven the car a whopping 400+ miles in the first month so I will save further comments until I have at least 3K miles on her.

Great Car — This is a great car. It is built solid and is fun to drive. Acceleration and handling is great. The four year/50,000 mile warranty maintenance is also a big plus. Everyone we know who has seen this car or ridden in it love it and would like to own one.

OEM run-flats are hard!!  Plus, the rear tires with the M Sport package are over halfway finished at 12,000 miles

Safe Sedan With Bit A Fun Hidden — BMW should not have changed the steering-feedback with the new 3-series. Driving the E90 gives wonderful road feedback. Seats are comfortable and supportive- the M seats more so. Have to say the M package has numerous hidden features that KBB, Edmunds, etc do not value, so if you're looking at a rare 3-series with the M package, you'll really need to add between $2-3000 for the true value of the car.

Perfect Entry-level Bmw. — Appearance: Loved the look of the face lifted E90. It was very comfortable. Build quality: No noises or blind spots. Only scheduled maintenance at no cost. Milage acceptable for everyday driving. Performance: Perfect brakes and perfect handling. Acceleration acceptable. 200hp with 200torques is on the low side for a car this size/weight, but overall a huge difference to my 2005 Toyota Echo. Always felt extremely safe and in complete control driving it. This car was a lot of fun to drive.

Best Eco Friendly Bmw — Cleaner than a gasoline engine or hybrid. More power than an M3 (torque). Smooth performance of a gasoline engine but has that clackity diesel sound engine. Truck drivers get mad when I pull into a diesel only truck stop to get fuel.

Bmw 3 Series — BMW is owned for a status, not for a drive, BMW created the car and made it wat it is today, no Merc can be compared... #ForTheLoveOFBMW... perfect driving experience enhanced by unimaginable driving pleasure... i could and never will find any car that could ever take number 1 spot in my life or heart as a BMW does

Pretty Damn Great — This car handles great. My last care was an Acura TL and it was a great car, but the BMW performs like nothing else I have ever driven. It has 40 less HP than my Acura, but accelerates just as fast. Driving it in sports mode is an incredible experience. I didn't by my first automatic tranmission care until I was 35 so I know what a manual transmission feels like. In sports mode this care emulates a manual transmission well enough to fool some people.

The Ultimate Driving Machine Is Perfect For This Car. Amazing! — I love everything about my car. It's got all the right bells and whistles and it drives perfect. I test drove a lot of cars and nothing performed like the 3 series. The car isn't cheap, but you get what you pay for. Anyone who says they rather have something else is only saying that based on PRICE. The cheapest product isn't always the best. Hence why BMW and Apple do so well.
