Jetta — Nice car. Suprising boot space. Ipod connector thumbs up. Diesel performance where have you been all my life. Torque + economy. Quiet. Nice ride and handling. Quality seems first rate also. Fun Car To Drive And Great Commuter — Overall a great car - very fun, good fuel economy, sporty yet sophisticated. Has similar feel of luxury higher end 3 series BMW or c-class Benz without the added cost and gets better fuel economy. Lower cost of maintenance vs. luxury options as well. Been Great Reliable Car — This is an excellent commuter car that gets 45 + mpg, comfortable, performs very well in the rain and snow. When it's cold, the heated seats warm up quickly as does the motor. Recommend as a first car or commuter any day! Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

ProsGreat diesel millage, i get ~50MPG on 20 mile freeway trip and 32MPG on a 10 mile city trip Conscould get a little loud on start up on cold morning, you still can't hear it that much more than a gas car from inside the cabin but from outside it is louder until the car warms up (5 minutes)

Love It — There is nothing to dislike... My wife got sick and cant drive it anymore. It handles like a sports car and gets awesome fuel mileage. The trunk will hold a lot more than you think possible from looking at it from the out side. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

Prosit handles like a sports car, but has the capacity of a family car. the gas miliage is incredible for this size of car and the trunk space is shocking. the seats are super comfortable for really long drives. Conshopefully I won't forget it's diesel one day, and we haven't had to pay for expensive diesel repair yet.

Fantastic Car! — I totally loved my little Jetta... the gas mileage was insane (I usually only have to gas it up once a month..!). It's super fun to drive (these TDI's have great torque) and it handles really well - this coming from the guy whose prior car was a BMW 335 convertible. | ||

Family Car — I traded in my VW Jetta GLI to get this car for my wife when we had our first child. A very solid and dependable car for the money. It came loaded with tons of options that many other cars in its class simply don't offer. The touch screen radio with iPod dock is really nice to have for daily drives as well road trips. Surprisingly large trunk space. The full size spare tire is also a nice addtion. Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

Would Buy Another One — Overall love the car, Appearance is great, performance is good overall, except for occasional lags in acceleration, breaking is great, vehicle is very well built, average 42mpg (fair amount of in town driving, around 50%), & while oil changes are expensive, they only are recommended every 10k (synthetic only), the car is a blast to drive (except when it lags) |
