Awesome — The only thing I don't like about this car is that it has no place to put change. That's irritating to me. The performance overall is great - I use a higher octane gasoline in it. The only thing I had to have fixed was the alignment since it was a lil off when I bought it. Appearance is great - Had to condition the leather a bit since it wasn't as soft as I would've liked. Gas mileage is good - around 30mpg highway and about 24mpg city. cost of maintenance and repairs are very expensive.

Good Choice For Someone Looking For A Low Cost, Sporty Ride. — Above average ride quality( sporty and firm) with a properly weighted steering. Accleration could be better on the low end by adding 20 to 30 extra horses.Still manages Low 7 sec 0 to 60MPH. Manual gear is above average with short and direct throw. Gets little balky when it is warmed up. Typical front wheel drive understeer through out tight to long radius turns. Easily modulated with the throttle.

A Great First Car. — The handling before I installed my lowering springs has to be best in class of the segment. After the lowering springs of course the handling was even better. A great car to start autocross in. Its also a great car to just take people around in and runabout town. I got mine with an automatic as opposed to the manual, but I do not regret it. The sequential gearbox is satisfying and the automatic is fine if I have another car. The power is adequate for the car, but when hauling more people around it becomes sluggish. The style is on the feminine side, but its really all about the comfort. The seats are average. Fuel economy could be better, but Mazda has already fixed this with the new Skyactiv.

Amazing Little Car — The mazda 3 is an amazing little car. It is very good for city driving and can handle the highways really good. The fuel economy is not the best in its class. The interiors however are the best in its class.

Pros

A diamond in the rough--fun to drive, aggressive styling, excellent quality, great gas mileage, low maintenance cost, with the functionality of a hatchback to boot.

Cons

The *only* thing I can complain about is it needs more power stock, an in-between for the base M3 and the Mazdaspeed3.

Buy It--you Won't Regret It! — The 2010 Mazda3 S Grand Touring Hatchback excels at most everything it tries. Performance is good, with ample acceleration and power when you want it. The 4-disc ABS brakes provide ample stopping power, and the handling is superb save the fact it should come with Falken performance tires to add better grip and stability in corners. Build quality is superb as to be expected from Mazda. The aggressive styling is also a plus, especially with the Aero package. The only thing I would change are those front fenders. Cost of ownership is good: fuel economy mainly highway ranges from 315-380 mpg, and maintenance is reasonable. Just plan for servicing 4 brakes instead of two. The best part is that it's really fun to drive, especially in the automatic with manual sport mode.

Neat Little All Rounder — The 2010 Mazda3 is great little car. It has a very good pickup with superb handling. The ride is a little noisy. The car is very reliable. So far I did not have to do any big maintenance on the car.

Cons

Appearance has to grow on you

Good Value & Excellent Utility — Performance- It's not the Speed3 but it is fun to drive & there is plenty of get up & go in the 4 banger. Fairly quite except under hard excelleration. Build Quality - Outside was a 5 out of 5. The inside is a 4 out of 5. The seats are a little to stiff & while material quality is good, there is room for improvement. Appearance - Let's just say the front grows on you. It looks best in all black as it reduces the impact of the smile. Personally I liked the old front end. The back is fine, but the tail light housing sticks out & could be a costly replacement. Fun Factor - 4 out of 5

Mazda Keeps The Tradition. — Everything outstanding, maybe a little better plastic supports. Strong 2.5l engine may need intake and exhaust to put it where I wanted. Comfortable seats, very good handling in corners, upgrade short shift 6 speed makes it ideal, and fun, to go to work.

Zoom Zoom Zoom — I fell in love with the 2010 Mazda3 the first second I saw it. It smiles...I love that. It has a Bluetooth which is great. Power everything which is also great. THis is the first car I've ever owned that has been pretty much fully equipped. It's (one of) my babies.
