2010 Mazda CX-9 Touring AWD Review
ProsStyling, cargo room, reliability, handling, acceleration Consgas mileage, wind noise through front windows.

Great Vehicle — I like the styling inside and outside the vehicle. The car has great build quality inside and outside. The build quality on the inside of the vehicle compares to a BMW 3 series. Really the only thing I don't like about the vehicle is the poor fuel economy. We get about 16 MPG combinded city/highway. The car has never needed to be repaired. The car's acceleration is very good. There is a slight wind noise through the front windows when driving on the highway which is annoying. I feel extremely safe in the car as it is very solid. This was the first Mazda I have ever owned and I can say that I'm extremely impressed with the overall quality of the vehicle. Primary Use: Family transportation

Great Car !!! — Acceleration: Okay, due to the size of the vehicle Braking: great Handling: great Build Quality: No repairs so far, maintenance cost is low. Appearance: Great exterior, ok interior (but it's not a luxury vehicle) Cost of ownership: Good mileage on highway, local is quite horrible. Fun to drive!!! Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsCar turns on a dime, literally. Great ride, looks are deceiving so much room inside it's unbelievable. Well maintained, no problems, been a great vehicle to own. ConsTired of trying to squeeze into the little economy size parking at work.

Zoom, Zoom. — Best ride, most comfortable seats ever! Quite ride, great Bose surround sound entertainment system. Sunroof and moonroof are awesome. I paid for alot of extra's including a 5 year warranty on the tires, along with Road side assist. Will miss this vehicle. Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsStyling, comfort, passenger and cargo space ConsNo automatic door locks, no automatic on headlights -- both features that should be standard in this price range.

Overall Fantastic Vehicle For The Price. — An overall fantastic vehicle for the price. We wanted a full-size SUV with good styling -- not the typical box. We did a lot of shopping and my wife and I (mainly the wife) picked the CX-9 over all other full-sized SUVs, although the Buick Enclave was a close second. Primary Use: Family transportation

ProsThe styling, handling and price. Consnothing

Try A Cx9 — The Mazda CX9 is an amazing Crossover that is more competitive with Lexus than it is to Toyota, Honda or Nissan. If your in the market or a crossover vehicle you need to test drive the 2010 CX9 and I am sure you will like it. Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsGreat handling and fun to drive a sweet looking vehicle. ConsBrake rotors had to be turned to stop shimmy while braking within 12k miles.

Sweet — Great looking family car with great handling makes it fun to drive. Not impressed with the brakes because they started to shake the steering wheel shortly after 10k miles. Had the rotors turned by the dealer and so far so good. Engine has slight tick when cold but doesnt seem to stay long. Dealer couldnt find any problem but reflashed engine software anyway but problem still persists. Love the car so far just not perfect yet when it comes to service.
